Again, I must apologize that Soul2Soul has only had two issues this past year owing to the turmoil and growth in my own life. So many lessons, I can only hope for recess and happy respite on this playground of life for a bit.
My last newsletter created a great unfolding of events I could not imagine. As most would remember I explained my absence and the healing I had been going through after the man who inspired me to create this site informed me of his forthcoming marriage to another. A week after posting this newsletter I received an email supposely from this man's new wife informing me that I had violated his wishes of not contacting him again, apparently neither he nor his new wife had bothered to unsubscribe from Soul2Soul's newsletter. For me, this was tearing off a healing wound and rubbing salt into it.
After contact from other survivers of this man's violations and spiritual manipulations, and after asking for guidance and strength, I created a website calling out this man for his crimes against women. Yes, I finally realized that I had been manipulated and violated, in body, mind and spirit by this man who cunningly and systematically had done this to countless others.
Other friends and Soul2Soul viewers have come out telling me of simular situations with predators such as he, those that feed on the love and light of lightworkers trying to extinguish that light they are drawn to. I know there are many of these predators out there. Most victims are alone in their feelings of shame and unworthiness, drained of the light, doubting in their beliefs and cursing the faith that once sustained them. Know that you are not alone, for everything there is a reason.
This man has chosen to sue me for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress, this is a big reason for the lack of a newsletter these past months, frankly, this latest ordeal has nearly destroyed me. I have been going through another "dark night of the soul" that so many of us know so well, know that there is always daybreak in the end. As most of you know, I have lived my life as an open book, all painful passages as well as the joy must be shared, all faults, challenges and victories expressed to chronicle the human condition of one, the human condition of us all.
There are those in the metaphysical/new age community that would say I must turn my back, love, forgive and release without consequence. I have learned that sometimes the most loving thing we can do is to call another being to their actions, to shine a light on their darkness and allow them to make amends and seek the light or to fall back upon their darkness. Doing nothing is never an option for growth. In the strange synchronicity of life, I was moved by a quote in a most unlikely movie,
"There are two kinds of evil people in the world, those that do evil stuff and those that see people doing evil stuff and don't do anything about it".
