Just
before I started creating this website, (on April 18th to be exact)
I started on a nutritional program utilizing a superfood called blue-green
algae. Although I had released over 80 pounds of excess weight 3 years
ago with lifestyle and attitude changes (I will cover my process in
the coming months) I had still been wanting to release those last
20 or so pounds.
I
don't know if using this algae will help, but I do I have an incredible
level of energy and stamina since starting on the program, whether
it's the buzz from new creation or the power of the "pond scum",
I'm happy with it. I said I would consent to being a nutritional coach
for anyone interested in this program, only if I liked it myself and
could see and feel an improvement. So far I'm impressed.
Anyway, this reminded me of a story I'd heard about Mahatma Gandhi,
a mother had taken her young son to see the great man, she wanted
him to tell her son not to eat sweets, as he was getting chubby. Gandhi
asked her to wait and come back the following week... the next week
she returns with boy in tow, Gandhi tells the boy "Don't eat
sweets." The boy is impressed by the great man's words and agrees
not to eat sweets. The mother is a bit peeved that she had to wait
a whole week for this.
"I don't mean to sound ungrateful but why did we have to wait
a week for that?" She said.
"Oh,' replied Gandhi, "I never like to tell other people
to do what I couldn't do myself and it took me a week to get off sweets!"
