~The Basics~

Most everyone knows the Sun sign they are born under but there are so many more aspects to look at when exploring your astrological profile. Astrology can be like a road map of your soul. From your birth chart, based on the date, time and place of your birth you have a unique cosmic fingerprint that can enlighten you to your talents and strengths along with your weaknesses and challenges in this lifetime.

There are several different schools of astrology, all with their own nuances and science. For this Astrology 101 lesson we'll be dealing with the Western system which is the most popular in America and Europe. I hope to feature articles on Vedic astrology, an ancient Hindu system, and Chinese astrology in the future.
